## about
Made by Arcscribe
BTYSHU is an Arcscribe Ltd project.
Why it exists
Plenty of good cars came with a dashboard that tells you very little. A speedometer that reads a few miles an hour high, no idea what the limit is, and a wealth of engine data locked behind a diagnostic port nobody plugs anything into.
Meanwhile, most people already own a tablet or an old phone. BTYSHU joins the two up.
What we care about
- Open hardware. Nothing to buy from us and no approved device list. Standard parts, open standards and open map data.
- Working offline. A car isn't always somewhere with signal, so the parts that matter don't depend on it.
- Respect for the driver. No nagging, no alarms, and nothing on screen that isn't backed by real data.
